Need to knows:
Stroller or sling? Recommended stroller

Parking validation? No need — big parking lot
Central Market is a bougie paradise. This grocery store is the epitome of posh living. Their produce section alone is worth a couple hours of your time. They have about 20 varieties of apples. Their herb section is a revelation. Want fresh tarragon? Look no further. Sage craving? They’ve got you. They even have a mushroom fridge for the fancy shrooms., so if you want to drop a cool $1500 on fungi you CAN.
Anyways, you know all this. Have you ever gone just for the cafe, though? You absolutely should. This is the easiest, bougiest way to spend your time and get out of the house with that baby.
Let’s talk accessibility. There’s a long ramp leading from the parking lot, so bring that stroller. They have a very large lot so you’re almost guaranteed to find a space, and if you park to the right while facing the store you’ll position yourself right in front of the cafe. Once inside, there’s a family friendly restroom just across from the register, and there’s a baby changing table within. Obviously hit that up first.

You order at the register unless you’re getting gelato in which case you order from the gelato scooper. They have a wide array of options ranging from coffees, teas, smoothies, baked goods and gelato. If you want to treat yo’self, we definitely recommend that gelato. It’s outstanding.
There’s a long ramp around the perimeter of the wider cafe. It leads out to the outdoor patio, and we definitely recommend heading out there. They have fans and plenty of shading on the upper deck, so try and snag a table there. There’s more tables on the ground level, but you’d have to carry the stroller down the few steps to get there.

If you have bigger kids, then the lower level is for you. They have a cute playground down there so it’s perfect to tire them out while you lounge. There’s also a stage where they occasionally have live music. If that’s too lively for sensitive babies, then you can always duck into the grocery store or sit inside the cafe.
It’s a great place to spend an hour or two, and you’ll scratch that bougie itch in a baby friendly setting. Check out their website for more info.
